Children and Families
We welcome and encourage families to join us in the desert lands this year for Passover. There will be a Children’s Village where children will spend their time in the great outdoors, exploring, playing games, making natural crafts, and creating a contribution for our seder.
There will also be sturdy shade structures that buffer windstorms and provide shelter from the elements when needed. We are doing our best to create a space that is safe and comfortable for families. And, we ask you to keep in mind that this is a wilderness camping trip with limited primitive facilities. Prior successful camping experience is recommended.
There will be kid friendly snacks available throughout the day and each dinner will have a “Kid’s Corner” with simpler food specific for the pallets of young ones.
At Passover in the Desert, we have an exciting opportunity to share the responsibility of caring for our children as a village. However, it is imperative that parents ensure that when not in the Children’s Village their children are under adult supervision at all times.
